I am certain that in times to come enthusiasts all over the world will make good use of that "Spencer registry" and it will remain the singlemost and ultimate collection of 8 series production data even when BMW has seemingly "lost" all information.

Hallo.

My name is Jud Spencer, the E31 Registry Agent. This is my first post on ClubE31.De. Many danke's to Ralf and Reinhard in welcoming me to your community.

Hafner has posted some of my work from the 2005 BMW 8er-Serie Catalog project. By 31 December 2005, I will have every single 8er-Serie inventoried from the 30,621 produced. I am 45% finished as of this month.

I recently finished all 840Ci EURO M62's. Reinhard and I have had correspondence over the Japan Individuals M62 840Ci's that were produced May 1996 through April 1999. As you know, Reinhard owns one of these beautiful cars. Accordingly, it was thought only 200 examples of this special run were made, when in fact it was 298!

In parallel, there were M73 850Ci Platinum Editions for the Middle East countries. I will be sharing the results of this inventory with all of you soon.

By the way, I've located "two" M73 850Ci's that were produced in late 2000/2001! One went to a Scandinavian country and the other went to the Middle East.

Ludenschwarzmetallic (Diamant) ist gut.

Oh... I never doubt a single moment that Cosmos Black would be the absolute best seller... just take a look at what is offered on Autoscout24 :roll:
Anyway... it looks like I have a good chance to find an Artic Silver one, after all the second best sold :top:

EDIT: ups... second best is Orient Blue. Also not too bad!
